This tour approaches the medieval city from a very specific angle, namely that of its neighbourhoods (contrade): across various editions, both Civetta and Torre neighbourhoods have provided unique points of view and identification on an institution that, for centuries, has been influencing the lives of people born in Siena.
Places of archaeological and cultural significance, as well as the city's terrain and urban tissue, have not only been addressed from historical and sensory perspectives, but also through the evocative insights of architect Mario Tassoni regarding some correspondences with the celestial vault. Three editions were realised between 2018 and 2020.
