La Girobussola APS organised a multisensory exploration of Piazza Maggiore (Bologna) at the annual network meeting of ViaggieMiraggi, sustainable tourism operator whose network the association has been part of since 2019, and with whom it collaborates on multisensory trips in Italy and around the world.
The group experienced the perception of a space without the use of sight, employing spatial cues, non-visual actions and tools such as tactile maps and blindfolds, experiencing the medieval square in a new and different light.
This activity allowed the association to become more established within the extensive ViaggieMiraggi network and to make our colleagues experience a taste of our work and initiatives on offer.
